Susan has been an educator since 1974. She began her career as a Media Specialist at Randallwood Middle School (grades 5 & 6) in the Warrensville Heights City School District, Warrensville Heights, Ohio in 1974. Susan has spent the last 14 years of her career as the middle school Library/Media Specialist in the Twinsburg City School District in Twinsburg, Ohio. Her responsibilities include teaching information skills, overseeing the use and ordering of materials for the school media center, and working with teachers to find/develop materials to enrich or supplement the curriculum. Susan received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University with certification in secondary English and educational media. Susan has continued her education with an interest in educational media extending her certification to K-12 and receiving a Masters of Education in Instructional Technology from Utah State University in Logan, Utah. With a love of learning and an interest in how students learn, she has spent time as the Media Coordinator of the Utah School of the Deaf in Ogden, Utah and the Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School in Ashtabula, Ohio. She is a member of the Twinsburg Schools Curriculum Committee and the Twinsburg Schools Technology Committee.  Susan identified content for the World History Room.
