Sheila Pressler has been an educator for 14 years at Hudson Middle School.  She began her career in 1992 as an 8th grade reading teacher in the Hudson City School District, Hudson, Ohio, and she has spent the last 12 years teaching 7th and 8th grade language arts in a modified looping arrangement.  Her teaching responsibilities include team teaching language arts and developing integrated units of study that are standards based, relevant, and interesting.  Sheila admits to having a passion for differentiation and assessment.  She earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Akron and she will be continuing her education this August.  Sheila has presented at the National Middle School Association Conference three times and has received the Prentice Hall “Teams That Make a Difference Award” in 1997.  She represents Hudson Middle School as an active member of the Curriculum Council, advocates for students through the Student Assistance Team, and has participated in the district’s Leadership Academies I and II.  Sheila contributed to the Middle School Speech Room.
