With over 14 years of teaching experience, Betsey Lee is currently working with 6th-8th graders as the Media Specialist at Brady Middle School in the Orange City School District, Pepper Pike, Ohio. Her teaching responsibilities include sharing literature through booktalks, providing research instruction and assistance, and supporting classroom instruction through the selection and identification of print and electronic resources.  She began her career as a kindergarten teacher in the Cleveland Municipal School District, Cleveland, Ohio in 1992 where she also worked as a district resource teacher for technology and as an Elementary Media Specialist. Additionally, she has served as a Media Specialist in the Mentor and Euclid school districts. Betsey received her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Education from Allegheny College, and a Master’s in Library Science from Kent State University, with elementary (K-8) and library/media (K-12) certifications.  Betsey has continued her education with an interest in technology and young adult literature.  She is a member of the American Library Association, Young Adult Library Services Association, American Association of School Librarians, Ohio Educational Library Media Association, and the PTA.  Betsey contributed to the Middle School World History Room.
