Jean Kornowa has been in the field of education for 19 years. As a Health educator, she began her career teaching 9th grade health for Toledo Public Schools. Coming back to work after raising her children, she worked in a Behavior Intervention Program and then taught health education for Washington Local Schools. For the last four years, Jean has been the Library Media Specialist at Jefferson Junior High School in Washington Local School District, which houses over 500 7th graders. Jean attended the University of Toledo where she received her Bachelor's and Master's of Education. She continued her education in the area of Library Media and Technology.  She holds current licenses in Library Media, Health Education, Supervision, and French. Currently, Jean is a member of the Ohio Educational Library Media Association, the American Library Association, and the American Association of School Librarians. Jean contributed to the Middle School Physical Science Room.
