Emily Zauss Colpi has been an educator for 5 years. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University in 2000, she began her career as an English teacher in the Lakota Local School District in West Chester, Ohio, teaching 10th and 11th grade English. In 2001 she entered the Library Media program at Wright State University full time, and worked there as a graduate assistant in the Department of Educational Leadership. In 2002 she was hired as Library Media Specialist at Mariemont High School in Cincinnati, OH, where her responsibilities include collaborating with teachers in planning meaningful and effective grade appropriate projects that support the curriculum and meet the standards of the Mariemont Information Literacy Scope and Sequence.  Emily holds a Masters Degree in Education (concentration - Library Media) and has Ohio licensure in High School English, Speech Communication, and Multi-Age Library Media. Emily has continued her education with an interest in technology integration into the library program.  Emily served as South Region Director of OELMA (Ohio Educational Library Media Association) from 2004-2005 and serves as director representative of her school in SWON (Southwest Ohio and Neighboring) Libraries. Ms. Colpi contributed to the High School Speech Room.
