Elaine has been a librarian for 16 years.  She began her career as a Young Adult/Reference Librarian at the Findlay-Hancock County Public Library in Findlay, Ohio.  Elaine has served as Weller Elementary's IMC Director for the last 8 years in the Centerville City School District.  Her responsibilities include managing all aspects of the school library program and teaching all students each week in library class as part of the Integrated Arts rotation.  Elaine received her Bachelor of Science in Library Media K-12 and Secondary English from Wright State University and her Master of Library Science from the University of Pittsburgh.  She is a presenter for district and state institutes and conferences, specializing in 'Tweens literature and media literacy topics.  Elaine received the ProQuest/SIRS Intellectual Freedom award in 2006. Elaine contributed to the Elementary and Middle School Children & Young Adult Rooms.
