Carolyn Suttles has been teaching English at grade levels 7-12 for twenty-four years, employed by the Bristol Local School District since 1983.  She received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Bowling Green State University in 1983 and her Master of Arts in English from Youngstown State University in 1992.  Ms. Suttles is currently a doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction at Kent State University. A Past-President of the Ohio Council of Teachers of English Language Arts, she currently serves the state organization as the Curriculum Chair. Ms. Suttles has presented at National Council of Teachers of English and OCTELA conferences numerous times.  She is also a technology mentor in her local district. Ms. Suttles has received the A+ Teacher Award from the Tribune Chronicle and is a Martha Holden Jennings Scholar. Carolyn contributed to the High School American Literature Room.
