Sarah Lynix has been an educator for 4 years.  She began her career as a Middle School Intervention Specialist in the Independence City School District, Independence, Ohio teaching students with special needs in grades 5-8.  Sarah has spent the past 3 years of her career as the Job Training Coordinator for students with disabilities at Polaris Career Center in Middleburg Heights, Ohio.  Currently, she has accepted the ERIC (Educational Research and Intervention Center) Coordinator position for the 2006-07 school year.  Her responsibilities in ERIC include a traditional library/media roles as well as coordinating support services for students with learning disabilities. Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Education from Baldwin-Wallace College in 2002 and her Masters in Library and Information Science from Kent State University in 2005. Her licensures include middle school language arts and social studies, reading K-12, mild/moderate educational needs K-12, transition to work endorsement, and library/media K-12. Sarah received the Crawford Award from Kent State University for receiving the highest grade point average in her graduating class. Sarah is a member of the Ohio Educational Library Media Association and contributed to the Elementary School College & Career Room.
