Pat has been in education for twenty-two years, working as a Library Media Specialist at the elementary, middle, and high school levels; and served as Head Librarian in business for seven years prior to her education experience. She has been with the Strongsville City Schools for the past ten years and is presently the middle school Media Specialist at Center Middle School. In addition to the usual library upkeep and maintenance, Pat is in charge of the Media Center web page that students use for classroom research, instructs students on techniques and resources available for research, and runs workshops for teachers concerning online resources and computer software for the classroom. Pat received her Bachelors in Education from Bowling Green State University with certifications in English and library/media, and a Masters in Instructional Technology from Kent State University.  Patricia contributed to the Middle School Librarian’s Guide.
