Mr. Appel is currently a 5th grade teacher at Woodbury Upper Elementary School in Shaker Heights, Ohio. He has over 11 years of teaching experience and is certified by the State of Ohio in grades 1-8. Lee earned his Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a concentration of history from the University of Toledo in 1993. He holds a Master’s in Education Administration from Ursuline College.  Lee works closely with other Woodbury teachers to keep their science curriculum updated and fresh. When not teaching, Lee’s interests include music, movies, sports, and his two children. Lee contributed to the Elementary School Life Science Room.
