Kirsten Klink has been an educator for 7 years. She began her career as a 1st grade teacher in the New Albany Plain Local School District, New Albany, Ohio. Mrs. Klink has spent the past 3 years of her career as the Librarian for the New Albany Plain Local School District. Her teaching responsibilities include working with Kindergarten and First Grade students on a weekly basis. Students spend twenty-five minutes each week working on various library skills and spend fifteen minutes for book selection. Mrs. Klink also works closely with the staff in her building to build the library collection with materials that support the curriculum.  Mrs. Klink received her Master's in Education from The Ohio State University and library/media licensure in 2005 from Ohio Dominican University. Mrs. Klink received the ASH House Woman of the Year Award in 1995. She is a member of the Phi Upsilon Omicron Honor Society as well as the Golden Key National Honor Society. Mrs. Klink contributed to the Elementary School Writing Room.
