Jinell has been an educator for 13 years. She began her career as a long term substitute teacher in the West Holmes School District, Millersburg, OH teaching 1st and 4th grade students. Jinell spent 12 years of her career as the 3rd grade teacher and then moved to kindergarten last year for the East Holmes School District in Winesburg, OH.  Her teaching responsibilities this year include introducing 40 Amish children to a public school and teaching them a second language. Jinell received her bachelor's in 1993 from Malone College with a minor in Art, and received her master's in 2000 from Marygrove College. Jinell contributed to the Elementary School World History Room.
