Dawn Davenport has been an educator for 14 years.  She began her career as an English teacher in Japan and then later became a kindergarten Teacher in 1993 in the Delaware City School District, Delaware, Ohio. Dawn has spent the past two years of her teaching career as an elementary teacher of English to speakers of other languages in Hilliard, Ohio. Her teaching responsibilities include instruction of English oral proficiency, reading proficiency, writing proficiency, and listening comprehension. Dawn received her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from The Ohio State University with kindergarten-eighth grade certification. She continued her education with an interest in global cultures and language acquisition and later received her TESOL Endorsement. Dawn contributed to the Elementary School Economics Room.
