Mrs. Pandora has been an educator for over 31 years.  She began her career as a Middle School Media Specialist in the Parma City School District teaching grades 7-9.   While in Parma, she was also an elementary media specialist and a teacher of United States History to 8th grade students.  Mrs. Pandora has spent the past 21 years as both the high school Librarian and the K-12 Coordinator of Media Education for the Rocky River City School District.  Her teaching responsibilities include research skills and database usage (information literacy); web evaluation (media literacy); Word, Excel, PowerPoint, United Streaming (technology literacy); staff development at three schools and coaching high school students in using Desktop Tutor to prepare for the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT).  She has been writing grants for twenty years and has received over $67,000 for her library.  Mrs. Pandora received her Educational Specialist degree in 1993 from Cleveland State University, her Master of Library Science from Kent State University and her Bachelor of Science in Education from Miami University, with certification in educational media and comprehensive social studies.  She also holds licenses as a supervisor, middle school principal and high school principal.  Mrs. Pandora has continued her education with an interest in staff and personnel management, school law, and high school to college transition.  She has received Teacher of the Month three times at her school. In 1991 she traveled to Washington, D.C. to participate in the White House Conference on Library and Information Services. She is a member of the Ohio Educational Library Media Association and has served as a Northeast Ohio Regional Director.  She is also a member of the Rocky River Teacher's Association, the Ohio Education Association, and the National Education Association.  Mrs. Pandora contributed to the High School Librarian’s Guide.
