Ms. Brown has been an educator for 30 years. She began her career as an elementary music teacher in Audubon, New Jersey, after graduating from Temple University with a Bachelor of Music Education. She continued teaching music in various locations including Barbados, West Indies; Haverford Township, Pennsylvania; Napa, California; and Douglasville, Georgia.  After earning a Masters in Library Media at Georgia State University, Ms. Brown became a library media specialist at Beulah Elementary in Douglasville, Georgia. She then relocated to Ohio. Following 2 years as the library media specialist at Our Lady of the Elms High School in Akron, Ohio, she spent 12 years as the Coordinator of Elementary Libraries in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Ms. Brown has served as the Coordinator of Elementary Libraries for the Green Local School District in Green, Ohio for 6 years. A Masters in Library Science from Kent State University was added to Ms. Brown's portfolio in 1993. She holds certification in Music (K-12) and Library Media (K-12). Ms. Brown contributed to the Elementary Dance & Music Room
